New Chapter

I suppose it's time to stop playing around and get started on this new chapter in my life.
I used to be such an avid poet, but in the last year I've essentially given up on that craft and in exchange, I have put all my effort into school.
I learn so much, I love my school and all it's teachers and snobby witches, and all of the confusion that comes with the cosmetology school territory.
I'm paying about $2 a minute so I should learn as much as possible right?

I guess I'll use this blog as my memoir and diary, it's such a crazy life and I don't ever want to forget a moment.

~Today, on my break at school, the homeless woman with no voice (she heaves at us with a scratchy voice-like.. thing.. and asks the students for things like cigarettes and pieces of the food we're currently eating) decided to be brave and sit directly next to me. I promptly moved away whispering "HELP" to my roommate across from me.
~Later on our way home from school, we were practicing the little bit of ASL (American Sign Language) that we kind of know, with our headphones in and the music blasting. A beautiful young woman, who's name escapes me, asked us (in sign) if we were deaf, which was a little bit of a compliment considering my sign is terrible. In the middle of our conversation about ASL, the time she taught deaf children in Rwanda to sign, and hair, a very smelly old homeless man got on the bus and sat directly between us. Sad note: He smelled exactly like one of my old boyfriends! Anyway, her and her friend were just the most adorable things and I hope I see them again.

I'm going to attempt to make a new blog every (other) day, depending on my schedule.... I go to school Tuesday-Friday (9hours) & Saturday(6hours), and I work!

It's hard out here for a.. student?
